Job Opportunity

A highly skilled Project Engineer is required to join a well-established and market leading civil contractor.

The successful candidate will contribute to the successful delivery of challenging projects across various industry sectors, ensuring timely completion and optimal resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on tenders and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Plan and schedule construction activities to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Manage site project teams safely and effectively, promoting a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Conduct quality assurance, cost, and time management to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Prepare management reports to inform stakeholders about project progress and potential areas for improvement.
  • Resolve site issues in a timely manner, leveraging problem-solving skills and effective communication techniques.
  • Liaise with key clients and stakeholders to build strong relationships and facilitate project success.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to optimize project outcomes and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar, coupled with 5-15+ years of management experience on civil construction projects. Additionally, project management qualifications are highly desirable.

Essential Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and leadership abilities are essential for this role. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and prioritize tasks efficiently will also be highly valued.
