Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Local Area Coordinator. In this position, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities and their families to help them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with disabilities in applying for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports.
  • Collaborate with participants to develop personalized goals and strategies.
  • Connect individuals with disabilities to local community resources and support networks.
  • Support participants in navigating the NDIS and maximizing their benefits.
  • Enhance community awareness and understanding of the NDIS.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families.
  • Relevant skills and knowledge in planning and coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant software.
