Transport Leadership Opportunity

As a dynamic and experienced leader in transport operations, you will drive strategic and operational initiatives across the APAC region. This pivotal role ensures we deliver fit-for-purpose, commercially astute transport solutions, balancing in-house assets and outsourced services to meet customer needs and drive profitability.

  • Lead transport initiatives across APAC, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the management of owned fleet and assets, optimizing their utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Drive compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR standards, ensuring a safe and reliable transport network.
  • Build strong relationships with carrier partners, fostering collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance and Business Development on pricing and tenders, driving growth and revenue.
  • Manage P&L, budgeting, and reporting for transport operations, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Identify and implement transport synergies and growth opportunities, leveraging expertise and resources to drive success.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all transport activities, promoting a culture of excellence.

Key qualifications include:

  • 6-10 years' experience in transport operations across Australia and/or New Zealand.
  • Proven leadership in managing direct reports and cross-functional teams, driving high performance and engagement.
  • Strong customer relationship and vendor management skills, delivering exceptional service and value.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Transport, or equivalent experience, with certifications in CoR, NHVR compliance, or relevant transport safety standards.
  • Proficiency in TMS and logistics software, with knowledge of cold chain logistics and food safety regulations.
