About The Company

Our client is a leading national fitout construction company with a strong reputation in the commercial fitout industry. They have established themselves over twenty years with excellent project delivery and repeat business with top clients across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.

The Role

You will lead a team to deliver high-quality estimates and quotations. This will involve supplying and marking up drawings clearly for project managers, maintaining estimating databases and records, and completing tenders in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in estimating software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prepare accurate and detailed take offs
  • Review tender documents efficiently
  • Show attention to detail in daily work
  • A minimum of 8 years' previous estimating experience in commercial construction or shopfitting/focus
  • Ability to read, mark up, and interpret building plans and drawings
  • Sound relevant experience within a similar role
  • Binder and similar systems would be an advantage
