About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of assessors in conducting face-to-face assessments in clients' homes. This involves working with clients and their representatives to establish goals specific to their needs, developing strategies and actions, and referring them to appropriate services.

As a supervisor, you will mentor new staff, continue education and quality assurance for assessors, and undertake delegate responsibilities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must have achieved and maintained competency in Home Support assessment training, including the Gateway systems and the IAT. You should be able to work under broad supervision to manage staff, operate as an effective leader in a high-pressure environment, and demonstrate strong organisational skills.

Mandatory Requirements

A Certificate III in Home Care or Aged Care or equivalent work experience is mandatory. A Certificate IV in Health Service Assistance/Allied Health Assistance is highly desirable. You must also be vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases.
