About the Role

The Practice Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing team in a positive environment for both staff and patients.

  • Coaching and mentoring a team of professionals to achieve exceptional results
  • Assisting with the overall financial performance of the practice
  • Maintaining stringent standards for sterilization, infection control, and stock management
  • Patient service, including greeting and welcoming patients, responding to inquiries, making and confirming appointments, checking, processing, and managing customer accounts
  • Administrative tasks, including processing payments using EFTPOS and HiCaps
  • Strategically marketing the practice to drive patient numbers
  • Effectively managing recruitment and selection for all practice staff

Key Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience with a focus on team development
  • A background in business or people management is necessary
  • Prior experience in dental practices is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided
  • A strong track record of organizational skills, administrative, and time management abilities
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to understand and manage the practice's financials
  • Comfortable interacting with diverse individuals, including dentists, patients, and practice staff
