Job Title: Automotive Equipment Painter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Equipment Painter to join our team. As an Automotive Equipment Painter, you will be responsible for safely moving equipment and vehicles around the yard, conducting cyclic condition checks on stock machines, loading and unloading machines for transport in accordance with CoR regulations, machine detailing and automotive painting, assisting technicians both in the workshop, pre-delivery of new machinery, keeping paperwork in order, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, participating in a positive workshop culture.

Responsibilities
  • Safely move equipment and vehicles around the yard
  • Conduct cyclic condition checks on stock machines
  • Loading and Unloading machines for transport in accordance with CoR regulations.
  • Machine Detailing and automotive painting
  • Assisting our technicians both in the workshop
  • Pre delivery of new machinery
  • Keeping paperwork in order
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Participating in a positive workshop culture
Qualifications and Essential Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience with automotive spray painting
  • A team player attitude
  • Basic mechanical or electrical experience
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative
  • Well-presented appearance
  • Essential experience with hand and power tools
  • Previous Trade Assistant experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Familiarity with heavy mechanical parts and machinery advantageous
  • A valid driver's license
  • WH&S awareness
  • The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
