Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide outstanding services that meet client needs and align with quality standards.

This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of high-quality property consultancy services, with a focus on cost management and quantity surveying for major projects.

About the Role

  • Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with colleagues to provide outstanding quantity surveying services that meet client needs and align with quality standards.
  • Cost Management: Oversee cost planning, estimation, and ongoing cost management for a variety of property and infrastructure projects.
  • Detailed Reporting: Prepare accurate cost reports, tender documentation, and financial analyses to support decision-making and project delivery.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct financial feasibility studies and value engineering to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved outcomes.
  • Expert Advisory: Provide strategic advice on procurement strategies, contractual matters, and risk management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience working as a client-side Quantity Surveyor in Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience providing full project services for major property and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of CostX and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Corporate membership or working towards accreditation with AIQS or RICS.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and clarity.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional client-facing and relationship management skills.
