We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Migration Specialist to join our team at Michael Page Australia. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data migration solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Migration Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements for data migration projects.
  • ETL Development: Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) scripts, stored procedures, and functions using SQL Server technologies.
  • Data Profiling and Cleansing: Analyze and cleanse legacy data to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Technical Architecture and Migration Strategies: Design and implement technical architectures and migration strategies for data migration projects.
  • Data Migration Execution and Quality Assurance: Execute data migration runs and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Source Code Security and Governance: Implement source code security tools and ensure compliance with governance policies.
  • Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical design documentation using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in MS SQL, Oracle, and Informix databases.
  • Strong proficiency in MS SQL coding, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server ETL technologies.
  • Familiarity with Git Hub, Visual Studio, Visual Code, and other source code security technologies.
  • Expertise in data analysis, ETL, data cleansing, data profiling, and data migration techniques.
  • Experience with large datasets and scripting using Power Shell and T-SQL.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with data migration to MS Dynamics and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.
