The Treasury is responsible for providing economic advice to the Government, supporting the effective management of the country's economy. We are comprised of seven main groups: Fiscal Group, International and Foreign Investment Group, Macroeconomic Group, Markets Group, Revenue Group, Small Business Corporate and Law Group, and Housing Group. These groups work together to deliver strategic outcomes that drive economic growth and prosperity for Australians.
The Critical Workforce Register has been established to continue meeting objectives for high-priority projects and attract talent with emerging skillsets. This register allows us to offer ongoing and temporary transfer opportunities under section 26 of the Public Service Act 1999. Non-APS employees and those without an ongoing role in the APS may be offered non-ongoing opportunities with an initial engagement of up to 12 months, plus one extension of up to 6 months.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
- You must have a minimum Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
