Our Lighting Designers Connect Directly with the Builder's Customers, Understanding Their Needs and Suggesting Lighting and Electrical Solutions That Enhance Their Home.

The Role

As a Residential Lighting Designer, You Will Oversee the End-to-End Process Including Pre-planning, Consultation, Finalizing Lighting and Electrical Layouts, and Completing Orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reading and Understanding Architectural and Electrical Plans
  • Creating Lighting Design Plans Reflecting Customer Needs and Design Concepts
  • Selecting and Specifying Product and Placement Solutions Fitting Customer Briefs While Providing Professional, Knowledgeable, and Efficient Services
  • Assisting in Seeking Opportunities Growing the Consultation Service
  • Ensuring All Administrative Requirements Are Followed Through, Attending to Phone Enquiries, Reporting on Consultations and Safety Procedures, and Completing Relevant Paperwork

Requirements

The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate Strong Customer Service and Sales Skills, with the Ability to Effectively Negotiate. Experience or Knowledge in Interior/Lighting Design and the Ability to Read and Interpret House Plans are Also Essential.
