What You Will Receive
  • Average $35-$40 p/hour, depending on skills and availability

Responsibilities
The Painter prepares and applies interior and exterior finishes in residential and light commercial settings. Must have residential painting experience and a positive attitude.
  • Prepares surfaces by washing, scraping, burning, sanding, sandblasting, or other means as necessary.
  • Mixes, matches, and blends paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and protective coatings to achieve desired effects. Caulks, putties, cements, or plasters holes and cracks.
  • Paints using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other applicators. Prepares walls and hangs wallpaper or wall coverings.
  • Determines and identifies proper materials and quantities for projects.
  • Evaluates customer requests, prices projects, troubleshoots issues, and presents work orders to customers.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Tools, a work vehicle, and good references
  • Experience in painting or related trades
  • Passes screening including a background check
  • Smartphone and internet access
Note: No project managers or those specializing primarily in new construction, please.
