We are seeking a senior executive to lead our global monitoring, evaluation and learning team. This role will drive strategic change in how we measure impact.

This position involves overseeing the design and delivery of our global MEL function, ensuring projects contribute to our charitable goals.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the refresh of our MEL strategy, including evaluation approaches and organizational learning.
  2. Introducing a framework for evidence-based decision-making and informing strategic priorities.
  3. Shaping the MEL operating model, including capacity management and capability building.
  4. Managing and mentoring a high-performing team of evaluation specialists across core markets.
  5. Engaging stakeholders to ensure effective conduct, communication, and use of evaluation findings.
  6. Driving implementation science and knowledge-to-action.

This role requires deep evaluation expertise and strong leadership skills.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in a health-related field or relevant discipline.
  • Extensive experience in research and evaluation project design and implementation.
  • At least 10 years in scientific, population health, or health policy roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement organizational MEL strategies.
  • Skilled in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong track record in building organizational MEL capability.
  • Ability to connect research outputs to decision-making and accountability.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
