About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Destination Marketing Officer to support the growth of our commercial precincts. This hybrid role involves three days in the office, with core days on Tuesday and Thursday, and flexibility as needed.

This position is a great opportunity for a marketing professional to make a real impact in a vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional campaigns to enhance visitation and spending in our commercial precincts.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including local businesses and digital communication teams, to maximize marketing efforts.
  • Create marketing collateral and manage communication strategies across multiple channels.
  • Provide reporting and evaluation of marketing campaigns, utilizing analytics to inform future strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in establishment work, marketing, and process mapping.
  • Strong understanding of local government operations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing campaigns, including monitoring and evaluation.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related fields.
  • Experience in event marketing, communications, and public relations.
  • Knowledge of website CMS, email marketing platforms, and design software is desirable.
