Lead Data Strategist

This pivotal role contributes to the delivery of major enterprise transformation initiatives by designing and delivering scalable data solutions. You will build robust data models, create insightful reporting tools, and drive strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimise advanced data transformations using SQL, Python, and Databricks within a modern Lakehouse architecture.
  • Design and maintain reusable data models to support reporting and analytics at scale.
  • Create engaging dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Profile, validate, and remediate data quality issues to ensure trusted datasets.
  • Collaborate with engineering peers to maintain coding standards, version control, and best practice workflows.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience delivering analytics solutions using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of Lakehouse / Delta Lake architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to build robust data models and curated datasets.
  • Hands-on expertise in Power BI dashboard design.
  • Experience in data profiling, quality checks, and governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and tools like Azure DevOps and Confluence.
