Meaningful Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to provide regular companionship to a lovely woman, sharing in her rich cultural heritage and lifetime of stories.

Her primary language is Mauritian Creole, with proficiency in English, Sherbro, and Mende. The ideal candidate will engage in meaningful conversations, building a heart-felt connection with her.

Regular visits can significantly improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation. This opportunity allows you to learn about her vibrant culture and rich life experience.

The volunteer commitment involves a regular weekly visit of 1 hour, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Sunday. A National Police Check will be required for this role.

  • Volunteers must be at least 18 years old
  • A National Volunteer Police Check will be arranged and paid for by the organization
