About the Role

You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records as well as other duties as required by the Dentist including promotion of oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide chair-side assistance to dental professionals during patient treatments
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as patient record management
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe dental surgery environment
  • Support the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with the dental team to achieve shared goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years (full time equivalent) experience within the last 5 years
  • Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
