Home Modifications Installer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Home Modifications Installer to join our dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in minor home modifications, with a focus on residential installations. They will be proficient in techniques, tools, and equipment, including cutting, shaping, and installation of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of minor home modifications, including grab rails, banister rails, hand showers, ramps, and doorway widening.
  • Work closely with the office team, occupational therapists, and clients to ensure accurate interpretation of plans and specifications.
  • Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to guarantee precise installation and adherence to industry standards.
  • Utilize tools and equipment to cut, shape, and install materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role, with a focus on residential minor home modifications.
  • Proficient in techniques, tools, and equipment, including cutting, shaping, and installation of materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret design plans accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring precise and high-quality installations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with occupational therapists, clients, and team members.
  • Physical stamina and strength, as the role involves lifting and manoeuvring heavy materials and equipment.
