Key Leadership Role: Lead Department Vision

The position leads the school department in developing a shared educational vision focused on delivering quality learning outcomes for all students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, articulating, and committing to a shared educational vision for quality learning outcomes.
  • Embedding socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Setting high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development.
  • Building partnerships with students, parents, government agencies, and community groups.
  • Strategically planning for the future.
  • Understanding legislation and policies impacting schooling, particularly for students and staff within the school department.
  • Managing human, financial, facilities, and curriculum resources to achieve goals.
