Accounting Professional Wanted

Based in Melbourne, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to utilize your accounting skills and support the finance team with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile supplier statements and maintain accurate AP reporting for the Head of Finance.
  • Oversee daily banking reconciliations and ensure timely completion of EOM journals and settlement discounts.
  • Import and reconcile company credit cards, as well as prepare weekly payroll and respond to staff pay queries.
  • Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliation and process superannuation payments in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Certified IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting is essential, along with 2+ years' experience in Accounts, reconciliation, payroll, AP & AR.
  • Proficiency in XERO is highly advantageous, and strong communication skills are required.
  • A keen eye for detail and sound understanding of Chart of Accounts and tax codes are necessary.
