Imaging Services Specialist

The Royal Hobart Hospital's Department of Medical Imaging plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive imaging services to the community of Southern Tasmania.

This position will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient Ultrasound imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients, working closely with senior colleagues to maintain best practice standards.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A broad knowledge base and competence in conducting a wide range of ultrasound examinations.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and the public.

Multiple permanent full-time positions are available, working 76 hours per fortnight. To be considered, applicants must meet the essential criteria.

  • A tertiary qualification approved by the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry.
  • Accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry; if practicing as a radiographer, registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
