Job Summary

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the transition to renewable energy systems and decarbonisation.

You will be responsible for providing technical support in Engineering and Design processes, performing pipe stress analysis, developing and supporting FEED and Design studies, and preparing and supporting cost estimates and tender packages.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support in the Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelines
  • Perform pipe stress analysis
  • Develop and support FEED and Design studies including detailed design calculations
  • Prepare and support cost estimates, equipment summaries and tender packages

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines, in-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian acts, regulations, standards and codes related to the pipeline industry, CPEng, and a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
