Lead Casualty Treaty Underwriter Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Casualty Treaty Underwriter to contribute to the success of our organization. This individual will be responsible for leading underwriting activities, including treaty submissions and contract evaluations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in casualty underwriting, and excellent communication skills. They should also have a proven track record of managing complex insurance contracts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Underwriting Management: Oversee all aspects of underwriting, including treaty submissions, contract evaluations, and pricing.
- Contract Analysis: Analyze original insurance wordings and treaty contracts to ensure compliance with organizational requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Actuarial, Claims, and Legal teams to achieve business objectives.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of casualty underwriting, pricing, and portfolio analysis.
- Client Management: High-level client management ability, negotiation skills, and influencing capability.
- Skillset: Robust contract knowledge, solid understanding of CTP and Workers Compensation schemes, and knowledge of legal, social, economic, and technological trends.
- Professional Qualification: Professional qualification in insurance.
- Educational Background: Bachelor degree or postgraduate level qualification in a relevant field.
