Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and repair work on overhead cranes.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues with overhead cranes using strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
  • Safety Focus: Prioritize safety in all aspects of work, ensuring a safe working environment for self and others.
Qualifications
  • Trade Certificates: Hold a valid Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate & Restricted Electrical Licence.
  • Driver Licence: Possess a current and valid Driver Licence.
  • Working at Heights: Demonstrate competency in Working at Heights.
  • Elevated Work Platform Ticket: Hold an Elevated Work Platform Ticket.
  • Australian Standards: Possess broad knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in computer programs: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit systematic problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication skills.
