Job Title: Long Distance Driver CasualAbout the Role:

This casual position involves driving heavy vehicles over long distances, primarily facilitating changeovers with our Melbourne and Brisbane-based drivers.

Typically, you'll depart by 7:00 pm, complete the changeover, and return to Sydney. Occasionally, you may be required to drive directly to Melbourne, Adelaide, or Brisbane.

  • A valid MC license is mandatory for this role.
  • Prior experience operating 18-speed Road Ranger gearboxes is preferred.
  • Night shift work and a clean driving record are also essential.
  • You must have high attention to detail and a focus on safety.
  • In addition, eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:

This role requires:

  1. Driving heavy vehicles safely and efficiently over long distances.
  2. Facilitating smooth changeovers with other drivers in Melbourne and Brisbane.
  3. Occasional direct drives to Melbourne, Adelaide, or Brisbane.
  4. Maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to safe working practices.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current MC driver's license.
  • Experience with 18-speed Road Ranger gearboxes is highly desirable.
  • The ability to work night shifts and maintain a high level of alertness.
  • A spotless driving history.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
