Occupational Health Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive pre-employment/health assessments, ensuring employees are fit for work and compliant with relevant industry health standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough occupational health assessments including functional capacity evaluations, drug & alcohol testing, and health surveillance checks.
  • Perform audiometry, spirometry, and ECGs as part of workplace medicals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and work collaboratively with stakeholders to finalise compliant assessments.
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients in the development and implementation of best practice occupational health strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to workplace health and safety.
About You
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in occupational health or a clinical background is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent administration and case management skills, and effective communication skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a larger team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
