Key Responsibilities- Perform Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their medical needs and develop effective care plans.
- Provide Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
- Develop Relationships: Build and maintain positive working relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Assess Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and care plans in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations.
- Problem-Solve: Independently problem-solve and make decisions within established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Maintain an understanding of RFDS MPC policies and procedures, as well as NEPT regulations, to ensure best practice and patient outcomes.
- Qualifications: Hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Care and be qualified as a Patient Transport Officer.
- Experience: Have experience working in the Non-Emergency Patient Transport sector, although this is not essential.
- Driving Requirements: Hold a full NSW driver's license and have a satisfactory driving history report.
- Availability: Be available to work shifts Monday to Friday.
