Operations Management Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced operations management professional to lead our team in NSW. As a key member of our operations leadership, you will be responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of various assets and sites throughout NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in Australia's Defence environment and support national security requirements of the Nation.

  • Lead and motivate a team of supervisors and trades operators
  • Manage the delivery of operations and maintenance in line with business objectives
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of asset management plans
  • Take ownership of O&M performance and contribute to annual business planning and reporting
  • Champion best practice health, safety, security, and environment management across all sites in region

Based out of North Sydney with regular travel required to sites, predominately located near Sydney with some regional locations.

Key qualifications include:

  • Extensive experience working in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or similar industries as a leader and manager
  • Proven experience in management and delivery of operations or maintenance
  • Relevant trade (mechanical/electrical) within Fuel Operations
  • Prior experience in Defence Fuels will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
  • Must be Australian Citizen to obtain NV-1 security clearance
