Senior Knowledge Lawyer Role

The Senior Knowledge Lawyer will provide professional support to our firm's national banking and financial services practice.

The role will focus on the banking and financial services team, with support given as needed to other national practice groups.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to project manage, with excellent document drafting skills and high attention to detail.

  • Assist in the design and delivery of practice training sessions, including internal sessions or training on financial services reforms, compliance and risk management.
  • Facilitate development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements.
  • Draft and maintain precedents.
  • Be a champion for style guide compliance.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms.
  • Conduct file audits in conjunction with the Risk team.
  • Write key matter summaries for business development.
  • Maintain awareness of legislative and case law changes and provide regular updates to the Banking & Finance practice group.
  • Prepare and deliver legal educational training.
  • Deliver style, precedents and writing training to the firm.

About You:

  • You will have at least four years of post-admission experience.
  • You will have current or recent banking or financial services drafting experience.
  • You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You will be able to prioritize and follow up tasks autonomously.
  • You will be able to work effectively cross-functionally.
