Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plant Equipment Technician to join our maintenance team at our Kimberley Mineral Sands site in Broome. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on our Dozer Mining Unit (DMU) equipment.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working 8:6 days only roster with 12.5 hour shifts. You will have the opportunity to work with a highly experienced team, utilizing your organizational skills to ensure you are stocked with the required parts and tools to undertake work on site.

About You
  • You should have over 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Australian recognized trade certificate is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • You must be able to read and interpret detailed plans and diagrams.
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining fixed plant equipment is a must.
  • HRWL certifications such as EWP, DG, RG & LF would be advantageous.
  • A valid Australian drivers license is also required.
