  • Job Summary
  • Hitachi is currently seeking an experienced Field Service Plant Mechanic to join our team based in Revesby. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance, servicing and repairs of Hitachi and Bell earthmoving and forestry equipment.
  • Main Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic, repairs and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Provide support within the Sydney metro and regional areas as required
  • Attend delivery handovers of new equipment to customer sites
  • Requirements
  • Relevant Trade Qualification of "Heavy Diesel Mechanic"
  • Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment
  • A MR License, "Working at heights" qualifications and an EWP License will be highly regarded
  • Ability to navigate computer programs for diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • A strong safety focus with a sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with sound ability to meet requirements set by the company and Hitachi's customers
