Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Riversea, an award-winning home in Mosman Park that provides specialized care for residents living with memory loss, including dementia. As a permanent part-time member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to our lifestyle team, driving the development and implementation of activity programs that meet resident needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programs that align with resident needs and professional standards.
  • Conduct therapy assessments, treatment plans, and treatments in partnership with residents and representatives.
  • Liaise with medical, nursing, care, and other allied health service providers to ensure comprehensive delivery of care.
  • Document and report care interventions, observations, and changes in resident needs.
  • Ensure a clean, pleasant, and welcoming physical environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA).
  • National police clearance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
