Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead research projects securing competitive grants, mentoring emerging scholars to achieve excellence.
  2. Inspire innovative teaching, shaping curricula, motivating students, and leading colleagues in best-practice learning and teaching.
  3. Develop and sustain powerful partnerships locally, nationally, and globally, delivering meaningful outcomes for the University and community.
  4. Lead with influence across the School and University, fostering a collegial, inclusive, and high-achieving academic culture.
Requirements
  • PhD in Nursing or related field.
  • Registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Evidence of involvement in, and impact on, the development of their discipline/field.
  • A clear and coherent research program with a strong track record of active, sustained and productive engagement in high-quality research.
  • Quality research leadership, effective mentoring to develop the research capability and capacity of individual and teams of Early Career Researchers and Early Career Academics.
  • Exemplary teaching practice, leadership in teaching, and student engagement and success.
  • Positive leadership contributions and personal qualities that influence the development and maintenance of a positive academic environment.
