Swim School Manager Job Description

Our Swim School is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team at Centenary Aquatic Centre. This person will collaborate with a large team and be part of one of QLD's largest Swim School Brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Swim School program in our venues to optimise commercial return & customer experience.
  • Be a key player in our customers' journey & take pride in operating such an important community asset.
  • Ensure the safety, health and well-being of customers.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • The ability to delegate, empower and engage staff.
  • Strong customer service skills and an understanding that the customer experience is paramount.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to translate that into action.
  • Knowledge of financial management and reporting.
  • The ability to self-start and to have the conviction to take responsibility when in charge of the venue.
  • Proficient multitasker, working well under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • A current Blue Card (Working with children check).
  • Swim Teaching Qualification.
  • Current CPR.
