Geotechnical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Specialist to play a key role in guiding project direction through detailed ground investigations, analysis, and design for infrastructure and building projects.

The Opportunity
  • Plan and manage site investigations, laboratory testing, and associated health and safety requirements with minimal risk exposure.
  • Conduct geotechnical analysis and design (e.g. foundations, retention systems, earthworks, seismic assessments) for buildings and infrastructure projects with high-quality output.
  • Interpret ground conditions and prepare technical reports and geotechnical documentation that meets industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and clients to deliver comprehensive geotechnical solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development and relationship building with key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with or working towards a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering) and eligibility for chartership.
  • 3-4 years experience in geotechnical design and construction, with sound knowledge of ground conditions.
  • Proven ability to deliver geotechnical solutions using industry-standard software and engineering judgement.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills with effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Motivation to lead, support others, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
