Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's financial management system. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing a dedicated debtor ledger, driving the reduction of overdue balances while adhering to agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurate account reconciliation.
- Driving timely invoice payments and collections.
- Fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing key insights and feedback to the Credit Team Leader regarding collection activities.
- Following up on agreed actions with customers to ensure successful collections.
To excel as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will need:
- Previous credit control experience of at least 2 years.
- Intermediate to advanced level understanding of Microsoft Applications such as Excel and Outlook.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work with numbers.
- Strong understanding of receivables fundamentals.
- Open honest communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Multitasking.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
