This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and patient-focused maternity care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to mothers and babies.
  • Support daily care needs and contribute to positive patient experiences.
  • Assist with activities of daily living to promote comfort and independence.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with NSW Health standards.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and respectful team culture.

Requirements:

  • Current and ongoing enrolment in a Bachelor of Nursing/Midwifery and completion of Year 1 of academic and clinical placement studies or completion of Certificate III Assistant in Nursing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems.
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible, and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN.
