Electrical Technician Role

Remote Technical Services is a leading provider of electrical services across the Torres Strait Islands. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical solutions to our clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience working with electrical systems. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment, as well as troubleshooting issues that may arise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
  • Repairing and replacing electrical components
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying root causes
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Electrical/Electrical Fitter Mechanic Certificate
  • QLD Electrical Licence or ability to obtain if coming from another state
  • Current CPR/LVR Certificate
  • Current Open Drivers Licence
  • Experience with Tradify is an advantage
  • Senior role requires experience managing staff and scheduling jobs
  • Unit competencies (UEEEL0030, UEEEL0029, UEEEL0002, UEECD0007) required for QTP are an advantage
