Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water resources engineering and experience working on complex projects.

This role will involve providing technical expertise and support to clients across various sectors, including flood risk management, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, drainage design, mine water management, and coastal engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and delivering flood risk management, flood modelling, and hydrology/hydraulic assessment support
  • Assisting with the preparation of tenders and proposals
  • Collaborating with professionals across multiple geographies and building relationships with internal and external clients
  • Helping to coach junior professionals and foster the growth and development of the team
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering
  • RPEQ/CPEng (highly regarded)
  • Strong client focus, high level of motivation, and dedication
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Experience or interest in project management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with water resource modelling and design packages such as TUFLOW, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, RORB, XPRAFTS, URBS, 12d, MUSIC, GoldSim, IQQM, Source etc.
