Job Description

Are you a seasoned professional ready to drive growth and success in a dynamic healthcare environment? As an Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Reporting directly to the owners, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting our Reception Team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Building and sustaining a positive, high-performance culture that fosters collaboration and innovation.
  • Managing rosters, workflows, and operational efficiency to maintain high standards.
  • Overseeing HR, compliance, and financial matters with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Driving improvements in systems, processes, and service delivery to enhance patient experience.
  • Handling Medicare, billing, and practice management with confidence and expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Proven experience in a busy general practice or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare and the MBS (or ability to quickly acquire it).
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with RACGP accreditation standards and requirements.
  • The ability to juggle competing priorities while remaining calm under pressure.
  • A leadership style that combines kindness, respect, and accountability.
