About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative results. As a Data Scientist, you'll develop and implement machine learning models, generative AI tools, and other data science solutions to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity.

  • Develop and deploy AI-driven solutions to address complex problems in our mining operations, focusing on applications that enhance safety, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Work closely with business teams to ensure that your solutions meet their needs and can be scaled across operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues in data science approaches and methods, helping teams make better decisions using data.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A solid foundation in data science, including hands-on experience in machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI.
  • Technical skills in Python and SQL, with expertise in deploying models in production environments using Docker and other tools.
