Key Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for engineering, process development, continuous improvement and sustainability functions across the organization.
- Lead and oversee capital projects, sustainability initiatives, process optimization and engineering within the Manufacturing business unit.
- Drive process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process focusing on sustainable solutions that improve financial performance.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the gypsum and plasterboard manufacturing process, plant equipment capability and process chemistry.
- Degree-qualified Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical or equivalent).
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in the building materials industry specifically specializing in plasterboard production, operations management and process optimization.
- MBA will be highly regarded. Lean Six Sigma and global experience within the plasterboard manufacturing industry is an advantage.
