About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position supports strategic decision-making by providing accurate analysis and insights into the company's financial performance.We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team and be part of a dynamic team. Salary range $76,515-$86,515.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in formulating and implementing budgetary and accounting policies to support organisational goals.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for management, board members, statutory bodies, and shareholders.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
  • Provide expert advice on financial and taxation matters relating to business structures and growth strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and brokers to manage funds and investments.
  • Introduce and maintain effective internal accounting systems, including the application of accounting software.
  • Maintain robust internal control systems to ensure financial integrity and transparency.
  • Conduct financial investigations and reports relating to audits, mergers, capital financing, taxation, suspected fraud, and overall business performance.
  • Assess financial risks and manage cash flow for capital investment and development projects.
  • Prepare and submit company taxation returns; liaise with regulatory authorities as required.
  • Evaluate and monitor operating costs, income, and expenditure to enhance financial efficiency.

Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar financial or accounting role
  • Proficient in financial reporting, auditing practices, and accounting software.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
