About the Role:This part-time position involves delivering high-quality family therapy aimed at repairing and strengthening family relationships.
- Deliver systemic or structural family therapy models to address relationship ruptures, manage family dynamics, and encourage effective coping strategies.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop individualised plans that meet the needs of each young person and their family.
Some key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing direct support to families while maintaining focus on the young person's needs.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to provide cohesive care.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual clients.
To succeed in this role, applicants should possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, or counselling.
- Current full registration with relevant professional bodies.
- At least 3 years of experience engaging with families for the benefit of young people.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and writing skills.
