As a Content Marketing Director, you will be responsible for leading our specialist content agency in developing strategic, creative, and commercial success.
">About the RoleThis is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategy, creative direction, client relationships, and campaign delivery. You will oversee high-impact, content-led campaigns across TV and digital video, podcasts, editorial, brand creative, social, and events for clients ranging from high-growth tech scaleups to global brands.
You'll drive growth and expansion of Private Media's own platforms, boosting audience engagement, brand awareness, community growth, and customer acquisition by collaborating with internal marketing, editorial, and product teams.
">Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities: Work with the commercial team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including responding to briefs and pitching proactive ideas.
- Lead content development: Oversee the strategic and creative development of content-led projects across multiple channels, including TV, digital video, podcasts, editorial, brand creative, social content, and events.
- Campaign management: Manage campaigns from concept to delivery, briefing creative teams, collaborating with media teams, and guiding campaign managers.
- Client relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and results.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
5+ years' experience: In a content or production agency, preferably with startup, B2B, or tech sector experience.
Expertise: In all aspects of video production, including producing and directing shoots, writing scripts and briefs, and managing crews.
Creative thinking: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of challenging norms and finding unique solutions.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage and influence diverse audiences.
Broad knowledge: Of marketing principles, spanning ATL media and creative, digital marketing, content, PR, and channel marketing, with a passion for staying ahead of trends.
Organisation: Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
