Job Description:

We're seeking a Subject Matter Expert to lead our team of content creators in developing high-quality Biology, Chemistry, and Movement courses for students and teachers across Australia.

  • Lead and support a team of content experts working on Biology and Chemistry courses
  • Provide regular feedback, run performance reviews, and help your team grow
  • Hire, onboard, and train new team members
  • Build a positive, collaborative team culture
  • Ensure all content is clear, accurate, and grounded in solid pedagogy
  • Review work and provide clear, constructive feedback to keep quality high
  • Stay across curriculum updates, teaching best practices, and competitor resources
  • Shape how courses are built-recommend lesson structures, content approaches, and improvements
Requirements:

To succeed as a Subject Matter Expert, you'll need:

  • A strong problem-solver who can make confident decisions under pressure
  • A strategic thinker with sharp attention to detail
  • A clear communicator who gives great feedback and direction
  • An excellent collaborator who builds strong working relationships
  • An organised and confident user of tools like Google Sheets to manage data and deadlines
  • A strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, and Movement
  • Experience leading teams-setting goals, giving feedback, and running team meetings
