Estimator Role

This leading fitout construction company seeks a highly motivated Senior Estimating / Quantity Surveying Professional to join their team. The successful candidate will be practically minded and have a strong understanding of the commercial fitout construction industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing accurate well detailed estimates and quotations in a timely manner.
  • Supplying and marking up drawings clearly for project managers.
  • Maintaining estimating databases and records.
  • Completing tenders efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in estimating software, and attention to detail in daily work. A minimum of 5 years previous estimating experience in commercial construction, shopfitting or fitout background is required.

Additional requirements include:

  • Ability to read, markup and interpret building plans and drawings.
  • Sound relevant experience within a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Aconex, Bidcontender, Estimate One, Team Binder and similar systems would be an advantage.
