Job Role Overview

This position requires a part-time Endorsed Enrolled Nurse or Anaesthetic Technician to join our dynamic Anaesthetics team at Pindara Private Hospital. As an integral member of the perioperative department, you will contribute to safe and effective surgical outcomes by providing clinical and technical support to the Anaesthetist throughout all phases of anaesthesia.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and understanding of issues associated with the perioperative setting, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive and cohesive culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical and technical support to the Anaesthetist throughout all phases of anaesthesia
  • Responding confidently to unexpected clinical situations and emergencies within the perioperative environment
  • Ensuring strict compliance with all workplace health, safety, and legislative standards
Requirements
  • AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (or similar)
  • Minimum of 1 year's demonstrated experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse/Technician
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of issues associated with the perioperative setting
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to foster a positive and cohesive culture
  • Self-motivated and able to work as an effective team member with minimal supervision
