
Emotional Support Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities- Guiding families with empathy and clarity from initial contact to final farewell, ensuring their needs are met and their voices heard.
- Coordinating funeral arrangements, including venues, flowers, music, and other logistical details, to create a personalized and memorable experience.
- Collaborating with celebrants, clergy, florists, drivers, and other professionals to deliver exceptional service and care.
- Leading the service on the day, managing logistics, timing, and support to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for all involved.
- Managing important legal documentation and administrative tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Providing a calm and reassuring presence when families need it most, offering emotional support and guidance throughout the process.
- Are kind, steady, and able to hold space for others with compassion and understanding.
- Can communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
- Are comfortable working in structured environments while maintaining sensitivity and respect for the individuals you serve.
- Can juggle multiple tasks and priorities without compromising attention to detail or dropping the ball.
- Remain calm and composed under pressure, handling unexpected situations with ease and professionalism.
- Hold an unrestricted driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Are flexible and willing to work outside regular hours, including weekends and after-hours, when required.
- Have experience in events, hospitality, customer service, or end-of-life care.
- Possess knowledge of funeral traditions, venues, or logistics, allowing you to provide expert advice and guidance.
- Can balance physical demands, such as carrying coffins, while maintaining a positive attitude and smile.
