The Compliance and Risk Management Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving an efficient and innovative compliance culture throughout the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met while maintaining the company's core functions and business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience within the financial services sector, with detailed knowledge of general risk, compliance, legal and regulatory issues. They will also possess in-depth understanding of the superannuation industry and financial planning sector, as well as relevant legislation such as the Corporations Act, SIS Act, and AML/CTF.
Responsibilities include providing due-diligence support, reviewing disclosure documents, and assisting in the management and resolution of complaints and breaches. Additionally, the specialist will assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating policies across the group, as well as drafting reports and submissions to management committees and regulators.
Key skills and qualifications required include a Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, or Law, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
